DPI-Einstellung für Gaming Mouse

moderne Gaming-Mäuse erlauben derzeit Einstellungen bis 5000 DPI. Wie sind Eure Erfahrungen mit den DPI-Einstellungen in Bezug auf Doom3? Sollte im Windows-Treiber der Maus bereits eine hohe, mittlere oder niedrige Zahl festgelegt werden? Ist es Vorteilhaft innerhalb der Doom-Optionen die Einstellungsregler für die Maus möglichst niedrig einzustellen und dafür bereits hohe DPI-Werte im Treiber direkt einzutragen- oder oder??

meine maus ist auf 1600 pdi eingestellt.

dpi einstellungen von 3000 pdi und mehr sind wohl eher für flugsimulatoren oder andere games gedacht.

wichtig ist nur das es zusammen mit deinen doom settings für dich eine gute mischung wird.

meine doom sense ist:
seta sensitivity "7.904762"

ob du die einstellungen in windows mit den pdi hochtreibst und dann in doom mit der sensitvity einstellung wieder runterkorrigierst ist dabei nicht wichtig. was zählt ist nur die mischung aus beiden einstellungen.

kontollieren kannst du deine einstellung zb. so:

stelle dich an einen beliebigen ort in einer map such dir ein fleck an der wand und ziehe deine maus von einem rand des mauspads zum anderem rand, zähle die 360 grad drehungen.

bei mir sind es genau 8 360grad drehungen auf dem 30cm langem mauspad.

also ich nutze 800 von möglichen 3200DPI
&
sensitivity "13.428572"
(macht 6x 360grad auf 30 cm)

mit den moderaten 800DPI ist sie in windows noch gut nutzbar und durch die hohe sensitivity in doom sehr schnell.

meine mouse hat sens max 1600

meine dpi für Doom3 ist 800 in D3 option sensibility = 3.569 pitch 0.022 yaw 0.0226

Das ganze sollte nicht mit den Einstellungen anderer verglichen werden (es sei denn der jenige hat die selbe Maus ) kommt ganz allein auf das feeling im spiel an ...ob du mit low oder high sens ein besseres strafe/aim gefühl hast .

m_yaw und m_pitch können individuell auf deine maus bzw bewegung ingame eingestellt werden und helfen beim feinschliff

I have spectated lots of doom 3 players where its very obvious they are playing with much too high sensitivity. Some of them really good players but would be much better with low sensitivity.

I play with 400 dpi and sensitivity 3.8.
If you look at any quakelive proffesional player they all play with very low sensitivity for a more stable aim, it is no different in doom 3.

high sensitivity is not the way to go with FPS games.

i started whit 15sens and mouse all the way up ....later i playd whit 5 1.9 was very good aim but too much mouse work to strafe on a small map was hard because of the corners ...400dpi must be very good for Doom3 i heard the same from deteew

hab ne g5 laser maus und spiel mit niedrigster dpi ich glaube 400 ich denke eh das jeder für sich das rausfinden muss wie er am besten spielt low sens ist halt gut für ziehlende waffen chaingun mg... verwackelt man nicht so für sg oder rockets ist eine schnellere sens besser aber wie gesagt muss jeder für sich selber rausfinden und am besten mal 10 games mit hoher sens spielen und 10 mit niedriger sens spielen da merkt man gleich was für jemand besser ist

in quake live ist das sehr nice gelöst, da kann man für jede waffe eigene sense einstellungen vornehmen.

in doom muss alles mit einer sense gezockt werden

i agree too with low sense for much better and stable aim.
but for a quick movement it should not be to low

I just went on doom 3 to see how far i have to move my mouse to turn.

20 cm = half turn

I have to make 2 passes with the mouse to do a full 360 degree turn. To someone who uses ultra high sensitivity this would seem very hard or impossible to play with but it doesn't take long to get used to it. When you are used to it you wonder how these people can even play with such high sensitivity

if you can control the high sensitivity it brings a advantage.
you can turn around and aim in a fraction of a second.

i have only problems with my high sens if iam realy angry or nervous


so if you have 20 cm = half turn you need to lift the mouse and move again for a 360 turn?

True, but with quick enough mouse movement it makes little difference. Just that your hand barely moves, and my hand moves around like crazy

Yes during a game i will lift my mouse many times. Almost every corner / turn i make will require me to lift my mouse and move again.

and of course a big advantage with low sensitivity is you can be nervous or angry and still have reasonable aim with chaingun and machinegun.

lol strange to see so much differences.
i only move the mouse in the center of my mousepad.

mit den mauseinstellungen ist es schon fast wie eine religion, jeder glaubt an seine

zu den einstellungen kommen noch die verschiedenen griffe:

einmal der "gaming griff" bei dem man die maus nur mit den fingerspitzen und dem daumen führt:
Der Handballen schwebt dabei in der luft über der maus.

und der "standard office griff" bei dem die maus mit dem handballen, den fingerspitzen und dem daumen geführt wird.

1200DPI im Windows 1600DPI im game seta sensitivity "11.587301"

vielleicht änder ich das noch nutze die einstellung erst 2 tage, habe nur grob die einstellung gemacht damit ich so halb wegs klar komm mit der neuen maus
