I-Dosing: Truth or Myth?
I-Doser is an application for the playback of proprietary audio content. This separately purchasable content has attracted media attention as it aims to simulate specific mental states through the use of binaural beat technology, and many of the simulations available take their names from prohibited recreational drugs.
Research into the neurological technology behind I-Doser is unclear. Studies exist suggesting that some specific binaural beat mixes can affect aspects of mental performance and mood, act as analgesic supplements or affect perceptions, but there have been no formal studies of any effects of mixes particular to I-Doser.
Personally, I tried it, the Gates of Hades. It is worth 200.00$ US (yes, you read right. I got it free over some illegal site, which I wont talk about). Which is, according to I-Doser, the strongest most terrifying experience one can go through;
"Gate of Hades / Premium (Unexplainable) / 30 Minutes / Smoke of their torment. Weeping and gnashing of teeth. Death. Destruction. No rest day and night. Tormented. Their worm does not die. Expect nightmares, near death experiences, and strong onset of fear. A failure of a creation that we offer only as a premium for those who want to experience both sides. And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit."
Anyways, this does NOT work for everyone. It's all about how your brain processes the frequencies. The less you think the easier it is to alter your consciousness.
My problem is I think too fucking much all he mother - fkin - time. BUT, it still did something! I hard a very very hard time going thorugh the whole 30 minutes of it. The whole time after about 10 minutes (I think) I had to talk to myself to not throw the headphones away.
After it all, I was actually very very calm physically, felt great mentally too. The experience itself is difficult but was worth it for me.
However, WTF does this have to do with what they claim? How dumb can these teens be thinking this is a remedy to drugs? If it were the case drugs wouldn't exist anymore. All I know is that everyone reacts differently to it, I guess the more you believe it, the more it works.
Placebo effect maybe? Oh well, that's what religion is all about!
I will be sending this to Myth-Busters, hoping they can bust this 200 year myth. One thing is certain, the military has sound equipment that can make the blood in a human being's veins EVAPORATE! or make people very sick /throw up. This is a FACT, I saw it on DC. If frequencies can make blood boil and people throw up, it's very possible it can do other (good) things to the body.

Re: I-Dosing: Truth or Myth?
I saw a report on TV about it.
It was the tv-show "Galileo".
Galileo is known for authentic and faithful reports.
They tested these sounds on several test persons with the result that nothing really happened.
that a person can feel bad after hear this, is in my opinion easy to explain.
when I listen to music (music that I do not like) with loud headphones, maybe musik like Speed-Hardcore it make me feels bad for sure.
so its the same i think with this horrible noise called I-Doser.

this is called ultrasonic-tank, i guess with normal speakers it would be never possible to produce such sounds (sonic waves).347v/\c wrote:One thing is certain, the military has sound equipment that can make the blood in a human being's veins EVAPORATE! or make people very sick /throw up. I've never tried it but i have heard of it before. I know they can do some crazy shit now just with sound waves. They can reduce a hostile raging crowd into a bunch of crying retards crawling around on the floor using only sound, and that's just the stuff we know about. Sounds interesting though. I wonder if there's a frequency for uber focused gaming
